AI Chat & AI Reference
Chatting with AI
You can have a conversation with AI in the right panel. Ask for plot suggestions, character advice, or guidance on where your story should go next. AI understands the context of your current project and provides answers tailored to your work. You can rate whether a response was helpful, and copy useful content to use in your writing.
AI Chat Modes
The AI chat mode automatically switches based on what you're currently viewing. You can also switch modes manually with the mode button.
- General Mode: Activates when you open a page. For writing-based conversations.
- Planning Mode: Activates when you open your story or a character. For planning story structure and designing characters together.
- Editing Mode: Activates when you use the editing feature. For sentence-level revisions.
- Novel Writing Mode: Switch to it with the mode button. AI shows an outline first, then writes a draft. If the length doesn't match the target, it is automatically adjusted, and you can compare previous versions.
Interactive Choice Blocks
Interactive choice blocks may appear during AI conversations. They are primarily used in Planning Mode, but addition and update blocks can also be confirmed by clicking in other modes.
AI proposes changes in the following ways. Click a card to apply the change. For new settings that don't already exist, changes are saved automatically without clicking.
- Proposed addition: Adds a new setting. New items are auto-saved.
- Proposed update: Suggests a change to an existing setting. Differences from the current value are highlighted.
- Proposed deletion: Suggests removing an existing setting.
- Proposed reset: Resets the entire story plan or a specific character's profile.
Auto-Saving Characters During Chat
Character information mentioned during AI conversations is automatically saved. After the conversation, you can find the new settings reflected in the character profile.
Starting New Conversations and Chat History
Start a new conversation whenever you want to change topics. Previous conversations are saved in your history so you can review them anytime. When you open a previous conversation, the AI chat mode used at that time is automatically restored. Conversations you no longer need can be deleted.
Registering AI References
You can register information for AI to reference when writing. Add worldbuilding details, character backgrounds, or special terms as references, and AI will incorporate them for more accurate results. You can also link other pages in your project as references. Manage and add references from the settings screen.
