AI Tools
Draft Next
AI reads the flow of your current writing and automatically generates what comes next. When you're stuck, you can get a draft for the next sentence or paragraph. You can use the generated content as-is or edit it before applying. AI presents possible plot options first, and you can request a different plot or generate text right away.
Getting Feedback
AI reads your writing and provides its opinion. You can receive feedback on overall flow, style, and structure. Use the button at the top of the editor screen to access this feature.
Proofreading
Automatically detects and suggests fixes for spelling, grammar, and awkward expressions. Problem areas are highlighted, and you can accept or dismiss each suggestion.
Editing
AI suggests better alternatives on a sentence-by-sentence basis. Each sentence gets a comment and a replacement suggestion. You can keep the original, swap in the suggestion, or apply all changes at once. Turn on the toggle in the AI Chat input field and send a request to have AI edit directly in the editor.
Rephrase
Select text to generate alternative sentences with the same meaning. Four options are provided by default, and you can generate more. Pick the one you like to instantly replace the original sentence.
Polish Tools
Select text to access a variety of polish tools. Click the arrow in the menu that appears when you select text to see the polish options.
- Flair & Impact: Gives sentences more punch and personality.
- Enrich: Elevates the overall quality of expression.
- Dialogue: Adds character dialogue to narrative passages.
- Write On: Continues writing from the selected sentence.
- Sceneify: Transforms summarized narration into vivid scene descriptions.
- Imagery Boost: Enhances the text with sensory details and figurative language.
- Simplify: Trims unnecessary parts for a cleaner result.
- Inner Voice: Adds a character's inner thoughts and emotions.
- Background: Enriches the setting and environmental descriptions.
- Expand: Makes sentences longer and more detailed.
You can also select multiple sentences to get suggestions for all of them at once. 4–6 sentence recommendations are provided, along with related synonyms and sensory words for reference.
Ask
You can ask AI questions about your story's content. Select text and click "Ask" to get an answer about that section. You can ask about plot direction, character motivations, and more.
