Section progression, Matrix, and editor skills
See how a character has changed — section progression
Characters change as the story moves on. Now those changes build up in chapter order in the Progression under a World node's section, and pressing the manuscript page or board card number on a line takes you straight to that scene.
You don't have to write them yourself: as Organize World reads your chapters, it notes what a character becomes, gains, loses, or learns. If plot has crept into a character's write-up, say “move it into the progression” and the agent does.
A board as a grid — Matrix
Questions like “when did this side character last show up?” are hard to answer by opening cards one by one. Boards now have a Matrix view: cards as rows, characters or places as columns, and a dot marking who or what appears in each card. Press an empty cell to add that value to the card.
The board screen has a new layout too. Groups wrap to the next row, card numbers read like the manuscript's (Event 1.2), and cards you open often can be pinned to the sidebar.

Keep old values alongside new ones — property start and end
When a character's job changes, the old value no longer has to go. Give each value the manuscript page or board card where it starts and ends, and past and present values stay together in one field. Say it in chat — “he quit hunting after ‘The Seal Cracks’” — and it's written there.

Requests you make often, right on the page — editor skills
Skills now come in an Editor type. Make one and it sits in the cursor menu; press it and the passage, with the sentences around it, goes to the chat for the agent to answer. You can also make a new one on the spot with the + in the cursor menu.

Your manuscript in one scroll — continuous view
Turn on Continuous view under the editor and your manuscript's pages join in reading order. Scroll straight down like a book instead of going back to the sidebar for each chapter, and fix whatever catches your eye right there.
Chat with Claude on every plan
Claude joins the models in the agent settings, so you can choose GPT, Gemini, or Claude on any plan. The model you pick is also the first choice for drafts, Revision, and proofreading. Detailed models on the Max plan now offer five reasoning levels.
Only the ideas you like go into the World — picking under a reply
When the agent offers a few options for a character or a place, a checkbox for each idea appears under the reply. Tick the ones you like and send them to the backlog with Add to backlog, or file them right away with Organize all. Say “add that to the World” and it's written from that same reply.

Also new
- Sign in with email. The sign-in field takes a username or an email, and signing up asks only for an email and a password.
- Accent color and reduced motion. In Settings > Display, choose one of six colors for buttons and links, and cut down on motion.
- Home becomes a bookshelf. Space cards show as book covers in each Space's color, and pinned Spaces wear a bookmark ribbon.
- Public access has its own tab. Set Space publishing and default sharing for manuscripts and the World in one place, under Settings > Public access.
- Copy a page. Page ⋯ > Export > Copy puts the whole page on the clipboard with its formatting.
- Proofreading fixes a long page at once. Apply all now covers the whole page, not just what's on screen, and one undo reverts all of it.
- Start from an empty screen with the agent. Get started on a new chat, and the Agent button on an empty World or Writing Style, open a conversation where the agent asks about your story first.
- Ask about part of a reply. Select text in an agent reply and Ask quotes that passage.
- One more round of polishing. Generate another under a Rephrase or Enhance card brings new options.
- Leave rows out on an approval card. Mark each node type and node row in Organize World results Exclude or Include.
Improvements
- Pasting long text keeps the screen and cursor at the end of the paste, and it saves within a second.
- When a page differs from the server, the notice under the title lets you load the other version.
- Change a manuscript's Writing Style straight from its card's ⋯.
- The agent knows the World Setting in new conversations, and reads related characters and places before answering idea questions.
- What the agent read folds into one line above its reply, and in long conversations the agent tells you when earlier parts have been summarized.
- Pressing a World history row opens the change view at once; on a phone it opens as a sheet.
- The clock at the end of a property's name opens that property's history.
- Feedback streams into its chat card as it's written.
- Proofreading asked for in chat shows one line per page, and stopping it takes effect within seconds.
- Proofreading and Revision on long pages run several parts at once and finish sooner.
- Write as is on a draft plan starts writing right away, and a new chapter's draft opens with its number and title.
- Settings > Subscription opens on the Free plan too, showing remaining Quota and when it recharges.
- Resolve a comment with the ✓ at the end of its name line, and bring it back with Reopen in the ⋯.
- Numbers in the manuscript table and table of contents sit right before the name (01 Meeting Magic).
- Duplicating a page in the manuscript table shows the copy at the top of the Documents list.
- The Sidebar group in Settings puts each list's order and count side by side.
- The cursor menu opens below the line when there's room.
- Collapsible sections now expand and collapse smoothly.
- Narrow panes keep Close and Help, and long names fade out at the end.
- On a phone, the chat input folds to one line and the ⋯ menu's steps open within one sheet.
- Private skills don't open from a link either.
