Branches and conversation history
As you work a story out, you sometimes want to try another direction without giving up the one you're on. Branch splits a conversation at the point you choose so you can compare two directions side by side, and past conversations stay on record to reopen any time.
Say you're working out how Vincent and Raon first meet: one branch can open with a fight, while the other has them fall into step on the road by chance, and you can push each one all the way.
Branching from here
- Under the finished reply where you want to split off, press Branch from here next to Copy.
- The conversation splits right at that point. Ask for a different direction in the new branch.
You can go back to the earlier conversation at any time, so you compare directions without losing the thread.
Starting a new conversation
Start a new conversation when the topic changes. Earlier conversations stay on record.
Reopening an earlier conversation
Reopen any conversation on record whenever you want. Delete the ones you no longer need.
