Spaces
A Space keeps one story's manuscript and World together. Manuscripts and documents, canvases, the World, the Writing Style, memos, and agent conversations all belong to one Space. Guidance, Skills, and your account settings apply across every Space.
Creating a Space
On Home, press New space and pick a Manuscript type — Novel, Web novel, or None. The Space is created on the spot and opens on the agent chat. Inside a Space, use New space in the Space menu at the top of the sidebar.
A new Space starts with one manuscript and a Writing Style. The manuscript type becomes that Writing Style's preset and sets the default craft rules the AI follows. To change it later, open the Writing Style and pick another value under Preset at the top.
Moving between Spaces
Home shows the Spaces you have made as cards under My spaces. Pinned Spaces come first, and the rest follow newest first. Press a card to open that Space.
Inside a Space, press the Space name at the top of the sidebar to open the Space menu, and jump to another Space from there. With four or more other Spaces, only the first three in Home's order appear; open the rest from See all N in Home at the bottom of the menu. The same menu holds New space and Space settings. On a computer, the top of the menu also shows the current Space's manuscript and chapter counts.
Going back to someone else's Space
When you open a Space someone else has made public, it stays as a card under Recently visited spaces on Home. The card shows who made it and when you last opened it; press it to open that public page again.
- Up to six appear, most recent first, and pinned ones stay in front however many there are.
- Take a card off with Remove from recently visited in its ⋯.
- If the person who made it turns off Public space, the card drops off this list.
Changing the name and icon
Change the Space name and the Icon in Settings > Space. For the icon, press Another shape and Another color until one you like comes up, then press Save to keep it; Previous steps back to the one before.
This tab appears only inside a Space. Open it with Space settings in the sidebar's Space menu; on Home, Rename in a Space card's ⋯ opens the same place.
Pinning the Spaces you open most
Press Pin in a Space card's ⋯, and the Space comes first on Home with a pin, and also appears under Pinned in Home's left column. Unpin undoes it. Cards under Recently visited spaces pin the same way.
Deleting a Space and bringing it back
Press Delete in a Space card's ⋯ and confirm, and the Space is deleted. Delete space in Settings > Space does the same.
A deleted Space waits in Space archive in Home's left column, with no time limit. Select it there and press Restore to bring it back.
Writing streak
Each card under My spaces on Home shows how many days in a row you have worked in that Space, as a flame with N-day streak. Miss a day and the count starts again from 1. When no streak is running, the card shows when you last worked in the Space instead.
Showing a Space to other people
Open a Space to other people under Public in Settings > Space. What visitors see and how to send the link is in Public space.
FAQ
Do I need a new Space to continue a series?
Not if it shares the same world. A Space can hold several manuscripts, so add one per installment and every installment uses the same World. Create a new manuscript from the manuscript picker at the top of the Manuscript tab. A work set in a different world gets its own Space.
