Export

Save your Manuscript and Documents as files. Export starts from two places, and each does different things.

From the editor — the page you have open

Choose Export page from the more menu at the top. Saves the page you have open as PDF, DOCX, or TXT, or copies to the clipboard instead of making a file.

From All — many pages at once

Go to All in the sidebar (or the sidebar's more menu), select the pages to export, and send them out together. This is the side to use for a whole manuscript. Progress is shown as it runs.

• Merge into a single file: Choose PDF, DOCX, TXT, or EPUB. EPUB is available here only. Page titles can be carried into the document, and each page can start on a new page.
• Multiple files: DOCX or TXT, one file per page, delivered as a zip.

FAQ

Are the World, Guidance, and the Writing Style exported too?

The World, Guidance, and the Writing Style are not included in exports.

Which format is best for very long content?

For very long content, use DOCX or TXT instead of PDF. PDF export can be limited when the file gets too large.
