Archive and restore
Deleted items move to the Archive, grouped by where they came from: Manuscript, Document, World, Canvas, Other.
- Manuscript: manuscripts, manuscript pages
- Document: document folders, document pages, canvas pages
- World: World nodes, property slots, section slots, node types
- Canvas: cards, sections, connectors, World nodes placed on a canvas
- Other: World Setting, World Organizing Rules, Writing Style, Guidance
The Archive holds everything until you clear it yourself, because a cut scene or a shelved character is material you come back for. Only items you permanently delete yourself cannot be brought back.
Select items and press Restore to bring them back; a manuscript page you restore comes back into Documents. Press Delete permanently to remove the selected items for good; this cannot be undone. Press ⋯ next to a row for the same two actions.
The Archive is where you bring back items you deleted. To roll a page that still exists back to an earlier version, use History.
Are deleted Spaces restored from the Archive too?
No. Deleted Spaces are kept in Space archive in Home's left column, and you bring them back from there. (See Spaces.)
