History & Restore

What you write can be looked back over and brought back to an earlier state in several ways.

Page History

Open History from the editor toolbar and it stands as a panel beside the body text, so you page through the record while looking at the page.

• Compare and restore: Compare an earlier version against the current one, and restore the earlier version.
• Automatic saving: A version is saved automatically just before an AI draft is applied and just before Editing is applied.

Taking a snapshot

Save a state you want to keep on the spot with New snapshot in the History panel. Versions saved this way are marked as the Snapshot type in the list, so they are easy to pick out among the automatic saves.

Reverting from chat

You can leave it to the agent. Say "put that page back the way it was this morning" or "undo what I just wrote" and the agent finds the saved version and reverts the whole page.

• What gets replaced is kept as a new version too, so if you dislike the result you revert it the same way.
• If the page was open, the editor view changes with it. If unsaved edits are in the way and the view cannot change, the agent tells you so.
