Formatting text

Apply formatting from the editor toolbar.

• Font and size: Choose a font and adjust the text size (system fonts, Korean fonts, English script fonts).
• Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough: Emphasize or decorate text.
• Alignment: Left, center, right, or justified.

Text color and highlight color

Pick a color under Text color or Highlight color in the toolbar, and undo it with Remove color.

• The colors already used in the document appear alongside, so the same color is one click away.
• My colors: Press Add color and the color you picked is saved to your own list, ready to use on other pages.
• A color you pick has its contrast adjusted to the theme automatically as you move between the light and dark themes. Turn this on and off under Color adjustment in Settings > Editor.

Automatic formatting

Formatting can follow as you type. Turn Smart quotes, Smart ellipses, and Basic Markdown auto-formatting on and off individually; Markdown auto-formatting is set separately for the Manuscript and for Documents.
