Public comments
Visitors who read a page you've shared can leave comments on it. Their comments come into your comment panel, and when you reply there, visitors can read your reply too.
Comment settings
At first, every page you share takes comments. To turn them off for the whole Space, turn off Allow comments by default in the Public group of Settings > Space. To make one page or chapter differ, pick Allowed or Not allowed under Comments › in its Share ›. On a page where comments are off, visitors can neither read nor leave comments. Comments already left stay in your comment panel.
How visitors leave comments
Visitors read comments in the comment panel beside a shared page, and sign in with a TypeTak account to leave one. They can also select text in the page and quote it in their comment. On a phone, Leave a comment at the bottom opens the panel.
Managing the comments you receive
Visitors' comments come into that page's comment panel alongside your own, marked Public before the name. The number you haven't read yet shows on the page's row in the sidebar and at the top of the page. Your replies to a public comment show on the shared page too, and you delete a comment you don't need from its ⋯.
The agent reads public comments too (comment_read), and tells them apart as visitors' feedback rather than your requests.
