Subagent tools

Drafting, Editing, Proofreading, World organizing, and system document writing are handed to subagents, each dedicated to its own job. Start one from an editor button or a chat request, and the subagent shows what it produced as a proposal.

Because results do not drop straight into the manuscript, writing that misses your intent never piles up.

Drafting

The drafting subagent (page_writer) writes the draft to the approved plan. For editing a plan card and approving it, see Outline & drafting.

Editing

The editing subagent (page_editor) reads the writing end to end and proposes better phrasing. Each spot gets a comment and a replacement sentence together. Keep the original or take the proposed sentence; apply them all at once, or revert the lot. It handles several paragraphs at a time. Leave comments in the body text, then ask the agent to "fix it the way the comments say" — it reads the open comments and edits to match.

Proofreading

The proofreading subagent (fix_spelling_grammar) checks spelling, grammar, and awkward phrasing. Plain spelling and grammar errors are marked in a different color from awkward phrasing, and you view the plain errors alone or everything at once. Each proposal comes with a short explanation, and once you have looked you apply it or ignore it. The marking colors can be switched to muted ones in Settings.

World organizing

The World organizing subagent (world_writer) files the characters, places, and settings out of conversations and the manuscript into World nodes. It creates the node types it needs, or fills them in on request, and every setting it files carries a Source leading back to the manuscript page or conversation behind it.

System document writing

The system document subagent (system_doc_writer) writes the Writing Style, Guidance, and World Editing Rules documents. When the agent offers an Update button in a reply, press it to write what you just discussed into those documents.
