Ask first and Proceed automatically

The agent files the characters, lore, and style settled in conversation into the World, the World Setting, the Writing Style, Guidance, and the World Organizing Rules. Filing starts when you press one of the buttons below or ask for it in chat. Under Edit permission in Agent settings in the chat input box, choose Ask first or Proceed automatically. On Ask first, a change to your work appears as a card first, and you approve or reject it. On Proceed automatically, the agent makes the change right away, then shows in the chat what it did.

• When the agent finds something worth organizing, it can offer an Update button in its reply. Press it and it writes what you just discussed into the World Setting, the Writing Style, Guidance, and the World Organizing Rules.
• Pages of your manuscript and items settled in conversation that are not in the World yet wait in the World backlog, and their count shows with an icon at World backlog below the chat input. Press Organize to check what will go in, then organize it. Names and lore that first appear in a draft the agent wrote reach the World this way too, without you spelling them out. Reviewing proposals and approvals

The agent shows the results of its work as proposals inside the conversation.

• Approval cards: World nodes and node types, the World Setting, the Writing Style, Guidance, the World Organizing Rules, and Create page, Continue page, Overwrite page, a page's Rename, Move, Duplicate, Reorder, and Unassign manuscript, and Restore to an earlier version appear as cards, and you approve or reject them. Each card shows its status — Awaiting approval, Approved, Rejected, Failed, Partially applied, Stopped, No changes, Withdrawn. On a draft plan card, press Write as is and the agent starts writing. • A waiting card is still yours to change: tell the agent in the chat what to fix and it rewrites that card. If the agent takes the change back itself, the card stays where it is, marked Withdrawn.
• What the card tells you while it runs and after it lands: an Organize World card shows its progress as a percentage while it writes. When the change lands the card reads Applied.
• Proofreading / Revision proposals: Proofreading and Revision changes that will go into the editor are collected in one place. Open the page with Open at the end of the line to review and apply them, or reject them all.
• Cards that change pages and folders: each change to a page, folder, manuscript, or chapter — creating, moving, renaming — is listed on its own line.

Can I undo a change after approving it?

Yes. An approved change still leaves a record behind.

• Pages: The version from just before an AI draft or a Revision was applied is saved in History automatically. Compare it and restore it, or ask in chat — “undo what you just wrote”.
• World: Hover over the property or section that changed, open that item's history, and roll back to the point you want. Changes the AI organized are marked separately. (World History & Restore)
• Deleted pages and folders: Bring them back from the Archive.
