Guidance

When the agent's answers keep drifting from how you like to work, you end up adding the same instructions to every conversation. Guidance keeps those preferences written down, so the agent answers your way in every Space.

If the World holds the world of your story, Guidance holds how the agent works. If you keep saying “always keep dialogue short” whenever you polish Vincent's and Raon's lines, or “don't summarize, keep writing” whenever you continue a scene, that's what goes into Guidance.

Building it up as you talk

During conversations, the agent records your preferences, your repeated requests, and the context of your work in Guidance, and draws on them when it answers. Recording follows your Edit permission setting: on Ask first, you confirm each entry on a card before it's saved.

Opening it and editing it yourself

  1. Open the avatar menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Open Guidance.
  3. Write or edit it yourself.
  • A preference you set once applies across every Space.
  • Style that differs per manuscript goes in the Writing Style; the rules the agent follows when writing into the World go in the World Organizing Rules.
