Publish · Share
Publish · Share lets other people read your manuscript and explore your World. You decide what to show, and to whom. A novel is a world of its own, and once it's in order you can hand it over with a single link. Unlike Export, which hands over a file and ends there, a shared manuscript or World stays where it is, and whoever has the link can come back to read it any time.
- A Space opened with one link — Choose how much of your manuscript and World to show, and visitors browse both from a single link. Turn on Public space in Settings and send the link. (Public space)
- A manuscript that reads like a book — Let people read the whole manuscript like a book, with a cover and table of contents, or share a few chapters first. Pick under Share › in the ⋯ next to a page or chapter. (Sharing the manuscript)
- A World you show selectively — Let people browse your lore as cards and a graph, and set what you haven't revealed yet to Not shared. (Sharing the World)
- Comments in your own panel — Read and answer the comments visitors leave, in your comment panel. (Public comments)
Sharing range
Wherever you share something, you pick one of the same three.
- Everyone: Anyone can read it, and it can show up in search results.
- Link only: Only people you give the link to can read it. It doesn't show up in search results.
- Not shared: Other people can't see it.
Set one for the whole manuscript and one for the whole World, and every page and node inside follows it. Only when you want one page or node to differ do you pick for it separately under Share › in its ⋯; anything you don't pick for stays on Default and follows the whole.
